Enemy Chatter: Magic fans have thrown in the towel

I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters
and bloggers are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics.
Here's a dose of 'enemy chatter' from Orlando.

Check out the latest post on Orlando Pinstriped Post:

Would you rather the Boston Celtics sweep the Orlando Magic out of the
Eastern Conference Finals tonight, or would you prefer to see Orlando
live to die another day? Forgive me for the morbid topic, but I believe
it merits discussion, with Game 4 slated for 8:30 this evening.

Here are the poll results as of 12:30pm:

I wanted to blast the Magic bloggers for even posing the question, but they clearly have their fingers on the pulse (or lack of ) of Magic fans.

The team has quit and so have the fans.

On Page 2, reaction from SVG and Vince Carter.

"It didn't start great in the film session. Guys were down, but as it
went along, they were fine," he said. "Our guys haven't been in this
situation in a long time … to be beaten like that. We took a lot of
losses in the playoffs last year. But other than Game 1 in L.A. (against
the Lakers in the
NBA
Finals
), we hadn't been beaten like this.

"They don't have a lot of experience with this. Our guys are a little
shaken."

Orlando Sentinel – Magic have one last chance to avoid sweep

SG Vince
Carter
said he was prepared to go into the stands to protect
his mother
Michelle when it looked as if fans were becoming rude
and unruly. "I was ready to go. I don't tolerate that," he said.

Orlando Sentinel – Team keeping its cool

Chances are VC would have charged into the stands and then pulled back and taken a fade-away jumper.
