"What I like about this team is, they're very unselfish," he said. "They handled us pretty good last year [in the playoffs]."
I think its safe to say Shaq's going to be fine financially. Its not like he's going to be forced to take a 500 square foot studio with a roommate in Charlestown (even though that would be a killer reality show. Shaq and some 5'8" insurance broker or something).
I don't know what else to say about the Shaq signing… so I'm just going move on.

NEW YORK — Even after losing all
those games and an embarrassing sexual harassment lawsuit, Isiah Thomas
has a place with the New York Knicks.
Thomas was rehired Friday by the team as a consultant, two years after he was fired as its coach and president.
"Isiah Thomas brings unique experience as a Hall of Fame player,
coach, executive and owner, and we believe having him as part of our
organization will be extremely beneficial to the team’s success,"
Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan and team president Donnie
Walsh announced jointly in a statement.

I would have written about this yesterday, but I only just stopped laughing.
The Knicks have spent the past couple of years Un-Zeking their team… and now they're re-hiring the guy that flushed their franchise down the toilet.
That just goes to show that James Dolan is challenging David Kahn for "biggest idiot in the league" status. When we do our next "Boston & That Sports Babe" show, we're going to have to use this story for our new "Who's the bigger idiot… David Kahn or…." feature.
I've been saying the answer is always going to be Kahn… but now I'm not so sure.
Congrats, New York Knicks… for spitting in the face of your fans. But thanks for giving another reason to point and laugh at you again.
