Ken Hitchcock has announced that Brenden Morrow will miss the remainder of the first round against the Chicago Blackhawks. Morrow was able to play in Game 1 and Game 3, but will now miss the rest of the series with a lower-body injury.

Morrow’s injury is actually a pretty significant one for the Blues. He has recorded just one shot on goal in his two games against the Blackhawks, but he has played an important role in front of Chicago’s net. When Morrow or another St. Louis forward is parked in front of the net, good things happen.
As you might expect, details on Morrow’s injury are limited. Hitchcock’s statement reveals Morrow will be out for at least the next couple of games, depending on how long the series lasts.
