Chris Stewart isn’t a member of the St. Louis Blues organization, but it’s always interesting seeing where former players end up. The Ryan Miller trade sent both Stewart and Jaroslav Halak to the Buffalo Sabres, but it looks like those were only brief stopping points on their trip. Halak was promptly traded to Washington before he even made an appearance for the Sabres, but was later flipped to the New York Islanders. As for Stewart, he skated in five games for the Sabres before suffering an injury.
What’s in store for Stewart? Perhaps a trade to a new team.
Word is Buffalo is considering options for Chris Stewart…look for #Sabres to try and move him

As always, take these reports with some salt, but it appears the trade which sent Stewart out wasn’t the final move for the forward. Stewart still has one year left on his two-year, $8.3 million contract, so he may be a fairly tough sell considering his recent injuries and recent slumps.
