The Celtics just keep on chuggin' along. It doesn't matter which players take they floor, they just keep on winning.
Tonight's victim – an uninspired Hawks team (missing Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford).
The Cs toyed with Atlanta for the first half, but cranked up the offense in the 3rd quarter (36 points) and clamped down the defense (allowed 21 points) in the 4th quarter.
How is this for balance? Glen Davis with 18 points, 10 rebounds. KG had 17 points, 14 rebounds. Paul Pierce with 15 points, 10 assists. Ray Allen with 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Nate Robinson had 14, Semih Erden had 10 points (not sure how a 7-footer can go w/o a rebound in 24 minutes).
I love Pierce and Ray combining for 16 assists. With Rajon Rondo out, those guys took it upon themselves to distribute the ball. The Celtics finished with 28 assists on 50 baskets.
Luke Harangody and Avery Bradley saw minutes together in the 1st quarter. Harangody managed 4 points. Bradley was repeatedly torched by Jeff Teague (18 points).
Von Wafer (sore back) was unavailable in the 2nd half.
