Stastny’s condition has been updated. He has an injured left shoulder and is now being considered week-to-week, a downgrade from the day-to-day diagnosis.

EARLIER STORY:
Paul Stastny left Saturday’s game against Arizona after a crunching hit by Martin Hanzal. The hit came during the game’s opening minute and Stastny was unable to return. Information has been limited on his injury, but Ken Hitchcock described his status as day-to-day.

Stastny will miss Sunday’s game against Anaheim. As of right now, the team isn’t discussing the severity or offering many details on his injury. More information should come out soon and we should soon know if he’ll be ready for Thursday’s game against Vancouver.
