TORONTO — Barring a last-minute change which seems unlikely, Boston Celtics all-star guard Rajon Rondo will not play tonight against the Toronto Raptors.
Rondo's return to action is likely to be tomorrow night against Minnesota.
Celtics coach Doc Rivers said prior to Friday's 83-81 loss to New Orleans that Rondo was doubtful for tonight's game against the Raptors.
Would be nice to have the kid back… but not at the risk of any further injury. So I'm glad they're taking their time and not panicking as other guys keep dropping.
