After weeks of us begging for your votes, we're happy to announce that last night we won "Best Celtics Blog" at the New England Sports Blog awards. So we would like to take a moment to thank you, our readers.
We started this blog more than five years ago as a couple of immature jackasses BS'ing about the Celtics. And over the course of those five years, whe have shown absolutely no growth or maturity… yet a bunch of people have decided to read us anyway. The fact that you came out in large enough numbers to push us past some really great C's blogs is amazing… and it will do nothing to shrink our out-of-control, yet fragile egos.
In all seriousness, we're thrilled to have been honored in such a way because it was decided by Celtics fans. And that's all we are. We hope to get better as we move forward and continue to give you guys a home to enjoy the C's as much as we do. So on behalf of all of us here at Red's Army, thanks to all of you.
