After each game, we'll be taking stock in each players… and maybe coach's… performance. If we like what we see, we're buyin'. If we don't, we're sellin'. Or maybe we'll just hold onto our stock until we see more next game
Rajon Rondo: Yes… Yes!!… oh GOD YESSSS!!! More of that. All of that. Every second of everything Rajon Rondo did last night was everything we want out of that guy. If Rondo could do that every night, the MVP debate would be "Rose or Rondo?" He was that good. I don't even care if he backs off tonight. I'm buying Rondo as being capable of this whenever he wants… and any night he's not that, he's saving himself for the playoffs.
Paul Pierce: How often does a 21 point, 11 rebound, and 7 assist game become maybe the 3rd or 4th storyline of the night? But last night it fell in behind "Holy Rondo", "Hey, The C's are BACK!", "HEY!! Jermaine O'Neal is BACK!!!" and "Oh man… now Krstic is hurt?" Regardless, it's another in a string of awesomeness by Pierce. This really might be one of Pierce's best seasons. Amazing.
Nenad Krstic: Sorry Nads… but I really don't like the way that knee buckled. I hope I'm wrong… and I won't say what I think it is in an irrationally desperate hope that the universe will be kind… but I don't expect to see him in C's uniform again.
Jermaine O'Neal: Let's turn to Jermaine O'Neal. I love this guy. He beat the knee injury. We had it as a don't buy. Let's bump it up to a risky. I like what I saw from Jermaine so I'm just gonna keep an eye on his progress and hope things work out better than we thought.
Kevin Garnett: What? After a 20 points on 9-12 shooting and 9 rebound night? Yep. Because Chris Freakin' Webber scared the crap outta me by saying KG is favoring his leg again… so now I'm all nervous. I'll feel a lot better if Doc just sits him for a couple of games to rest him.
Ray Allen: Slumps are part of the game, and Ray's in one. He did get some shots last night, but he's got less rhythm than Chuck right now. And if you only knew how little rhythm Chuck has, you'll know how bad that is. But its Ray, and until I hear its anything more than "it's a slump", I'll do nothing worse the hold off.
