I'm very excited for this coming Friday. Ken Dooley's play, "The Auerbach Dynasty", based on his friendship with Arnold "Red" Auerbach opens at the Park Theater in Cranston, R.I. John and I have been invited to be Ken's guests for the evevning, and it's truly an honor.
You can listen to an interview Ken did with me which goes into a little bit of how he and Red met and also some of Red's early years before he became coach of the Boston Celtics in 1950. If you are a Celtics history buff, it's a must-listen, and this play is something you just have to come enjoy.
