After cleaning up yesterday's mess, the Madness returns to normalcy with the next matchup. Today's matchup features one of Paul Pierce's several posterizations this season, going up against a George Gervin-esque play by Ray Allen during the series against the Miami Heat.
Seed #20: Pierce Posterizes Channing Frye – If you can recall in late January the debacle that was the trip to Phoenix, the Celtics had one of their worst performances of the season. Doc Rivers was ejected, Kevin Garnett junk-slapped Channing Frye and the green played like they were zombies. Just over a month later in early March, the C's extracted revenge by destroying the Suns and in the process and Pierce's slam over Frye put the exclamation point on it. Rajon Rondo tosses a pass to Pierce who is out ahead on the break and only has Frye to beat. Pierce posterizes him with the left hand for the and 1, and stands over him for a second. KG is pumped up with that "YEEEAHHHH" face, and pushes him away, but Pierce still gets rung up for a T. Tommy Heinsohn doesn't approve and his rant is hilarious… Note the reactions on the bench from Avery Bradley and Von Wafer.

Seed #45 – Ray Allen's Finger Roll Lay-Up (G1 ECSF BOS @ MIA) – It's late in the second quarter during Game 1 against the Heat and the C's are down by 10. Looking for any semblance of a good offensive play, the Celtics find one when Ray Allen drives to the hoop with a beautiful finger-roll, up-and-under the arm of Chris Bosh for two.
