GreenLight Madness: Celtics Top 64 Plays: Round 2 (#2 Seed vs #34 Seed)

Yesterday marked the beginning of the second round matchups in the GreenLight Madness tournament.  Once again, the top seeded Ray Allen Bomb to Beat New York in Game 1 destroyed its competition.  In this instance, it was a dunk and collection of blocks from Kevin Garnett during Game 1 against Miami.  Today, one of the more surprising (albeit pleasantly) play that Doc Rivers drew up against the Knicks.

Seed #2: Rondo ro KG Alley-Oop against NYK Game 1 – One of the most talked about plays during the early part of the playoffs, Doc Rivers works his magic yet again. Raise your hand if you were expecting that, at that point of the game. Yeah, I didn't think so either.

Seed #34:KG Blocks Mbah a Moute to Seal the Game – This game against Milwaukee has already featured some great plays by Pierce: his no-look pass to Nenad Krstic and his slam on the fast break. This time however, it's KG's defense that seals the win. There's under 30 seconds left, the C's are up by three and the Bucks have the ball. John Salmons has a tough time handling the ball and gets it to Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, who attempts to net a lay-up, but KG is equal to the task then pumps his fist after blocking him to seal the game. I'd love to know what Jon Brockman said to him afterwards to get KG to laugh at this point.
