We nearly had a unanimous decision in matchup #4.
Bill Russell got all but TWO votes in his matchup with Frank Ramsey. We'll see how he does against Reggie Lewis later in the tournament.
Today's matchup is a doozy, though. We've got 13th overall seed Cedric Maxwell going up against 20th seed Antoine Walker.
Tommy Heinsohn is waiting in the wings for the winner of this matchup. Let's see the tale of the tape:
(13) Cedric Maxwell
1-on-1 Advantage: Scoring, size. Max could score pretty much anywhere from 10-feet and in. And he has a very good array of moves around the basket to find the bottom of the net. Also an underrated rebounder who once averaged just under 10 a game.
1-on-1 Disadvantage: Bulk. Can get pushed around a little by a stronger post player. Not a great shot blocker.
(20) Antoine Walker
1-on-1 Advantage: Scoring, rebounding. One thing Antoine could do is score. And people forget his rebounding ability. He never averaged fewer than 8 for the C's.
1-on-1 Disadvantage: Defense, poor shooting. Antoine scored a lot, but he missed a lot. He never shot better than 43% for Boston. And he was never really known as a stopper either.
