Stern blows up the first two weeks

David Stern blew up the first two weeks of the regular season, costing the Celtics home games against Cleveland, Charlotte and the Clippers.  So no Blake Griffin in Boston this season.  Sorry Celtics fans.  You lose on what would have been a must-see player.

I had to cut and paste this part of the schedule from ESPN because the Celtics.com site had already blown out the first two weeks.

That means they had a "first two weeks cancelled" page ready to go.  Which makes me wonder if there was ever really a chance that this season would go the full 82.

I'm just going to leave this post here and re-visit it in the morning dump.  We're going to need a few hours to process exactly what's going on.  I do know this:  The NBA is blowing it.  It's killing itself out of spite.  The more games that get cancelled, the less peopl will care about the NBA.

Sorry, that's a fact.  I'll still watch.  And I'm sure a lot of you will too, but the casual fan is being lost.

Egos are getting in the way of a deal.  It's disgusting.
