Some of you took umbrage with my criticism of Rajon Rondo for saying this has been the best summer of his life in the midst of the NBA lockout.
A lost season affects more than just players, owners and fans. Jobs will be lost. Team employees. Arena workers. Beat writers and bloggers. Waiters and waitresses at bars and restaurants in the vicinity of NBA arenas. People earning tens of thousands of dollars per year will be drastically affected by this labor strife.
I applaud Pacers forward Danny Granger for recognizing the plight of the little guy.
