The folks at Bovada (formerly BoDog) have put out some new odds for the upcoming season. Right now they've got the over/under at 38.5. Here's how they've got the Atlantic division:
- New York: 41.5
- Boston: 38.5
- Philadelphia: 36.5
- New Jersey Nets: 21.5
- Toronto: 16.5
So these oddsmakers have the Celtics behind the Knicks and barely ahed of Philly. I'm sorry, but I don't see it that way. I think the Knicks are overrated. I don't think they can go 42-24.
I can see the Celtics at 40-26 or 39-27. That'd be a 50-win season normally, so that fits.
By the way, the O/U on Miami is 50.5. OKC is second at 48.5. Chicaco is third at 47.5
After the jump, the over/unders on Celtics individual averages
