5- Cam Newton, Panthers (last week: NR)

Cam is playing with a make shift set of wide receivers, but apparently, he doesn’t know that or give a crap. Cam is awesome, and against the Saints, Newton tossed a pair of touchdowns, and ran one in himself, helping the Panthers get off to a 3-0 start on the season.

Through three weeks, Cam has seven total touchdowns (5 throwing, 2 rushing).

4- Matt Ryan, Falcons (last week: NR)

Matty Ice put on a clinic Sunday, leading the Falcons back from 14-point deficits on three separate occasions. In the second half, he tossed two touchdowns as the Falcons blanked the Cowboys 22-0 en route to a 39-28 win, and a tie with Carolina for first place.

3- Andy Dalton, Cardinals (last week: NR)

Dalton air raided Baltimore to the tune of 383 yards and four total scores (3 passing scores and 1 rushing), including tossing a pair of 4th quarter scores as the Bengals rallied from behind twice to beat the Ravens 28-24.

2- Tom Brady, Patriots (last week: 1)

Tom Brady became the first passer on the season to break the 1,000 yard mark, putting him on pace to toss for 5,930 yards. On Sunday, Brady, the 199th overall pick in the 2000 Draft, tossed his 400th and 401st career touchdown passes as the undefeated Patriots rolled over the Jaguars 51-17.

1- Aaron Rodgers, Packers (last week: 2)

For the first time all season, Aaron Rodgers takes the top spot in the Automatic Otto’s, this after a masterful performance on Monday Night against fellow 1st round pick, Alex Smith. Rodgers tossed five touchdowns as the Packers rolled out to a 38-14 lead, before the Chiefs made a late run to close to within 10 points.

Rodgers takes the top spot away from Brady for the Automatic Otto Award.
