This past week, good friend of The Hall and Twitter Tuesday stalwart Jon Adkins announced via his exclusive interview with the newly signed hurler.

I’m going to say this as simply and as complimentary as possible…I hope that when I am 40, I am an eighth as active as Tommy Lasorda is at 125.

Without further ado…here’s “The Wisdom of Tommy Lasorda“!

Nobody makes better wine than the Italians! http://twitpic.com/s0zoa

Enos Cabel has all the qualifications of being an Italian. I’m going to make him an honorary paisan. http://twitpic.com/slswl

Reggie Smith was the most talented guy to ever play for me. http://twitpic.com/sl961

Tim Belcher was a great Dodger and an important part of my ’88 championship team. http://twitpic.com/sl7l6

I can’t wait to see Invictus staring my buddy Matt Damon. http://twitpic.com/s03rs

I landed safely in Indianapolis. It’s colder than a well digger’s back side.

With the Winter Meetings underway, it is time to cue up the “where is Roy Hallday going to land” discussion. Here we go!

songoku78: Dear Lord, Please let Roy Halladay become a Dodger and not a Yankee, Amen.

mikeonthephils: I’m not happy about these Blanton trade rumors. Unless, of course, they are to free up money to bring in Halladay.

LandMRoadGuy: So now we have talk of Roy Halladay going to Tampa. Anthopolous does realize there are big league teams outside the AL East, right?

TheBlogfines: Please people, stop mentioning Roy Halladay & the Cubs in the same sentence. Not. Happening.

Raider_Dave: It’s becoming more & more likely that the Yankees will land SP Roy Halladay, which in turn, increases my chances of rooting for the Red Sox.

jjredington: I will support and root whatever team Roy Halladay is on next year!

In what was certainly one of the top stories among the blogosphere (is there really such a thing?), Jerod Morris from Midwest Sports Fans had the audacity to write a post that included the words “Raul Ibanez” and “steroids”. Now, if anyone (and I’m looking your way Jim Salisbury and Ken Rosenthal) actually read what Morris wrote, they could deduce that he wasn’t really accusing Ibanez of anything…just throwing around (as Deadspin called it) “barroom speculation

Fast forward to now.

Morris has undoubtedly increased his readership a ton and with it…he’s got a pretty good (and very prolific) Twitter feed lined up. So, if you’re not following him yet…what are you waiting for?

Have someone you think everyone should follow? Perhaps you yourself have read some interesting tweets in the past week…drop me a line or leave a comment below. See you next Tuesday!

BallHype: hype it up!
