PLAYING CAREER: Texas Rangers (1986–1994), Baltimore Orioles (1995), Florida Marlins (1996–1997), San Diego Padres (1998), Los Angeles Dodgers (1999–2003) and New York Yankees (2004–2005)
ACHIEVEMENTS: Career record of 211–144, with 2397 strikeouts and a 3.28 ERA. Recorded double-digit wins and less than ten losses every year from 1997 and 2001…and never posted an ERA higher than 3.00 during that span. Six-time All-Star (1992, 1996-1998, 2000 and 2003) and 1997 World Series champion. Threw a no-hitter June 10, 1997.

HOVG THOUGHTS: A 3.28 career ERA, 2397 Ks and 13 seasons with ten or more victories makes Kevin Brown a hard choice to not put on the bubble. One ring, six All-Star Games and seven Gold Gloves? Sorry Brown, if David Cone can’t sniff the halls of Cooperstown…you can’t either.
