After making a name for themselves as a foursome, the Washington Nationals' racing presidents added a fifth participant.
According to the Washington Post, on Tuesday night…the team is adding another. Kinda.
As part of a promotion for the season premier of "VEEP" (a show I've never seen) on HBO, a Selina Meyer mascot will be joining Teddy Roosevelt in a relay race against Abe Lincoln and William Howard Taft. And in case that name (or the pictures of the mascot itself) doesn't ring a bell, Meyer is the character the three-time Emmy award winning Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays.
The Nationals will take the field against the Chicago White Sox…"VEEP" airs Sunday night on HBO. I'll be watching neither.
