In case you were wondering…yes, that was WWE legend Jake Roberts on the mic treating the Atlanta Braves crowd to "Take Me Out to the Ballgame".
In what I can only imagine was an attempt to prove he was still alive (because he sure as Hell isn't relevant), "The Snake" grabbed the microphone Friday night and started singing. And as you might expect, the result wasn't all that spectacular.
I'm not entirely sure why Roberts, who was never really known as a dynamic person, would be any team's choice to take the reigns during the seventh inning stretch, but, maybe, dude won some sort of raffle…and Koko B. Ware wasn't available. Or maybe…someone at Turner Field lost a bet.
And that someone was everyone in attendance.
