In the 2002 MLB Draft, Josh Murray was selected in the second round (48th overall) by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Now, almost a dozen years later, the former Minor League infielder-turned-financial advisor is one of guys competing for Andi Dorfman’s love on ABC’s “The Bachelorette”.
The 29-year-old Tampa native, who might best be known for being the older brother of former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, played professionally for parts of six seasons. In 294 games, he hit .213 with 23 home runs. He hung up his glove in 2007.
Following his baseball career, Murray attended the University of Tampa before transferring to the University of Georgia. There, he walked on to the football team while his younger brother was the starting quarterback.
