St. Louis is a quick 1600 mile drive from the Las Vegas Strip, but it seems like they have similar problems.
Less than two months after he broke up a fight outside Busch Stadium, Charlee Chartrand St. Louis Superman is, seemingly, no longer welcome at the ballpark. This…according to the faux Man of Steel’s Facebook page.
Until further notice I will not be at the ballpark. This is an issue out of my control. Both me and Joe The Balloon Man are a victim to this along with everyone else who performs there. I’m not really one to get into detail about this, but long story short we were “thrown under the bus” (the security officers words) by a person we both trusted and cared about.
This unnamed person, apparently told the Cardinals that St. Louis Superman, Joe The Balloon Man and the rest of the St. Louis street urchins were shaking down fans for money in exchange for photographs.
“This isn’t Vegas, we aren’t vendors, and we will never force gratuity out of anyone,” Charlee Chartrand St. Louis Superman continued. “Is that so hard to remember?”
Best of luck to Charlee Chartrand St. Louis Superman (seriously), but, yeah…I’ve been to both cities and, baby, they ain’t nothing alike.
