Garth Brooks just started his latest world tour…but that didn’t mean the country superstar couldn’t take a break from his unprecedented seven-night, eleven-night stint in Chicago to take in a little batting practice.
That’s right, the full-time country crooner-turned-part-time spring training sideshow (he’s played with the San Diego Padres, New York Mets and Kansas City Royals) stopped by U.S. Cellular Field to take some batting practice on Friday.
And pitching to Brooks…fellow Oklahoma State Cowboy alum and Chicago White Sox skipper, Robin Ventura. There’s no word as to where Chris Gaines was.
