I’ve only seen one episode (it was awful), so I’m not going to sit here and pretend I know anything about the hit CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”, but it is routinely one of the top rated comedies on television and, for reasons unknown to me, continues to somehow get nominated for (and win) awards.
So, yeah…someone must like it.
Monday’s installment found our gang of misfits at Angel Stadium of Anaheim to cheer on their astronaut buddy as he took the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. And leave it to “The Big Bang Theory” to suck all the life out of an otherwise humorless scenario.
At least they got the real Mike Scioscia to do a cameo as himself!
SPOILER ALERT…they didn’t. And the Scioscia stand-in they did get looked nothing like the longtime Angels skipper.
