Cardinals Fans Watch Game at Pearl Jam Concert

Prior to kicking off their fall tour in Cincinnati Wednesday night, Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder held an impromptu jam session and had dinner with former Reds Bronson Arroyo and Sean Casey and even hung out with baseball’s hit king Pete Rose.

Thankfully, the Reds fell out of playoff contention sometime in May (this is an estimation…not fact) or fans would have been torn between watching the game or enjoying the Pearl Jam show. Unfortunately, Cardinals fans had to make that choice Friday night as the Seattle rockers made their way to the Gateway to the West.

Or did they?

As luck would have it, the folks at the Scottrade Center put the Cardinals playoff tilt against the Los Angeles Dodgers up on the area’s scoreboard so the self-professed “baseball’s best fans” could have their proverbial cake and eat it too.
