Confession time.
I was fine with John Rocker competing on “Survivor: San Juan del Sur – Blood vs. Water” this past September. I actually, kinda wanted to see the onetime Atlanta Braves closer stick around longer than he did.
I’m even okay with Johnny Damon taking his turn vying for Donald’s Trump’s attention on “Celebrity Apprentice”. Sure, he hasn’t done much (yet), but I’ve got my fingers crossed.
But Jim Edmonds joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Orange County”? C’mon man.
According to LALATE, the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives” (its tenth?!) will include Edmonds and his third wife Meghan King and will be set primarily in St. Louis…giving Bravo a chance at seeing if the popular show would draw a crowd if it took place in the Midwest.
Edmonds spent eight seasons (2000-2007) with the St. Louis Cardinals, hitting .285 with 241 home runs and winning six straight Gold Glove awards. In 2014, he was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame. Currently, the former center fielder works as on-air talent for FOX Sports Midwest.
So, could “The Real Housewives of St. Louis” soon be in the works? Lord, let’s hope not.
