Roy Halladay has both a perfect game and a no-hitter (in the postseason no less!) to his credit and up until recently…his driving record was perfect as well.
Is that lede a bit of a stretch? Probably.
But considering the two-time Cy Young Award winner who, before Tuesday, had gone his entire life before wihtout a speeding ticket…it’s apropos. Thankfully, he shared the entire experience with his Twitter followers.

Unfortunately, as any pitcher will tell you, once you give up that first hit, run or whatever…the second one is always just around the corner.
And for Halladay, it was just a few hours later.
Got me again!! I ask if he was stalking famous people. He said no none live around here except the washed up pitcher! pic.twitter.com/CnSG9A9WfP

So, yeah, if you’re keeping track (and really…why wouldn’t you be?), that’s two separate speeding tickets in the same day from the same cop for Halladay. Fortunately, the former hurler banked enough cash during his 16-year big league career that he probably doesn’t need to worry about the hit his car insurance is about to take.
