Sure it’s cliché, but it’s easy to forget that baseball is one big fraternity when you see two teams of 25 going head-to-head for the better part of seven months.
So when that brotherhood loses one of their own…you better believe they grieve just like you and me.

Tommy Hanson died Monday night after suffering “catastrophic organ failure” . He was 29.
