PLAYING CAREER: Florida Marlins (1996–2005), Minnesota Twins (2006–2007) and New York Mets (2007–2010)
ACHIEVEMENTS: .290 career batting average and 370 stolen bases. Three-time All-Star (2002, 2003 and 2005). Three-time Gold Glove Award (2003–2005). Two-time National League stolen base leader (2000 and 2002). 2003 World Series champion. Holds the distinction of being the only player who played for the Marlins in both of their World Series winning seasons who didn’t get traded in between the two seasons.
