A quick glance at any Glenn Frey tribute piece and you’re going to read, mostly, about the more than 100 million records he and The Eagles sold.

Dig a little deeper, and you’ll surely read about the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s turn as an actor…both on “Miami Vice” and in “Jerry Maguire”. But, it turns out, Frey wasn’t content just being a chart-topping singer and actor.

Frey died Monday. He was 67.
