Not long after the Los Angeles Clippers revealed their new mascot, Chuck the Condor, 21-time Grammy winner Kanye asked if he could re-design the thing.
Now, the Chicago White Sox are getting their own rap superstar (and sometime Kanye collaborator).
Beginning with their home opener Friday, Chance the Rapper will lend his voice to a new team introduction video. Later, he’ll be tossing out the ceremonial first pitch. And in case you’re wondering…this won’t be the 22-year-old’s maiden voyage to the pitching mound. He took to the bump in 2014 as well.
Then…there’s this.

Wednesday, both Chance and the team announced their latest joint venture…three new caps, re-designed by the Chicago native. There’s no word yet if the White Sox will wear the new New Era lids on the field.
