Major Leaguers playing the role of “tourist” while on a road trip is nothing new. Remember, it wasn’t that long ago that Boston Red Sox pitcher David Price and friends explored San Francisco and tweeted about it.
So, given the Chicago Cubs don’t kick off their three-game set with the Washington Nationals until Monday night, it makes perfect sense that some of the boys spent their day sightseeing.

Yup. That’s first baseman Anthony Rizzo, backup catcher Tim Federowicz and the team’s strength and conditioning coach Tim Buss touristing it up outside the White House.
Could Rizzo and the rest of the Cubs make their way to the other side of the fence and through the doors following a World Series win this October? It’s possible.
I just hope they choose better attire.
