Also it means the second day of the auction hearing is over.
It also means 2 whole days of no work with a whole day of HOCKEY!
It also means that the Flyers released their “Winter Classic” jersey today.
And HOCKEY on Sunday.
Can you tell I am excited about Sunday? haha
Ok, but lets get down to business here people…
1) The Auction: It sounded like there was a lot of negotiating going on. Final bids are due Tuesday (if I recall correctly). It seems like all the creditors have accepted the NHLs bid. CoG supports NHLs bid and NOT Balsillies. Check out The Yotes Diva for tweets from the hearing. And look out for a full update on Save the Coyotes . From what I read on twitter today, it seems the NHL is the more favorable bid.
2) The baby Flyers beat the baby Caps 7-3. Woohoo! Go baby Flyers!!!!!
3) Speaking of Flyers… they unveiled their winter classic jersey. I am still undecided on how I feel about it. I like the front but am not a fan of the back nameplate.
I do not like that back nameplate. But I do like the rest of the jersey (and Mr. Gagne is looking good).
Alright… I need to get on with my Friday night. I will update after camp on Sunday.
