today was a good day. I didn’t even have to use my a.k. at least I didn’t get my heart broken anyway

Lots of things happening in Coyote-Land today.

40-year old Robert Lang appears to have cleared his physical and was practicing with the team. Honestly, this could go either way. I am a little worried about the age and injury, but if he can do better than Olli for us I will be happy. BTW, doing better then Olli won’t take much..

We also picked up Paul Bissonnette off waivers from Pittsburgh. Not sure how this will be for us. He played 15 games for the Pens and got one assist. Hrmmmmm…. I’m wondering if he goes to the Rampage?

We finally got a tv contract. FS Arizona will show 50 games. The bad news? Tyson Nash will replace Pang. OMG, Panger… please come back! You can live in my house. I have two spare rooms. I couldn’t stand Nash on the radio, now I have to deal with him on tv? Oh god. Well, I suppose we can always tune into the radio and put the tv on mute. 🙂

The lowerbowl has sold out for opening night. There are still a few upperbowl tickets left and now club seats are going $25 for a limited time.

AND the REALLY big news: Judge Baum made his ruling! He denied Balsillie’s bid with prejudice. Yay! Three strikes JimBal. You know what that means, right? The Judge has also rejected the NHL’s bid but has given them control of the team and the option to resubmit a bid for review. From what I understand the Judge is giving them a chance to satisfy all creditors, which means Moyes and Gretzky. Now the rest is up to the fans. We need to show that we want to keep our team. Keep buying tickets people! And not to just opening night. We have to keep this up all season long and then some.

Saturday night is opening night. The Coyotes will be in LA and I will be at Yotesgurl’s house watching the game, eating enchiladas and drinking margs. Yah, that’s what we do in the dessert. I know you’re jealous! What do you have, pizza, wings and beer? Boring.

Aiight, I am ready. Bring the hockey!
