Well I’m packing up my game and I’m a head out west

I figured since I am still up after the loss, I might as well write a little something about tonight.

The bad news is we lost. The really bad news is we may have lost Sami. So the title of tonight’s blog is for Sami, our lil cowboy. At practice Wednesday it was decided we need a Sami-cam because he is always having fun and doing funny stuff. Like the moonwalk after he denied Robert Lang. I hope Sami is ok and ready for Saturdays game. He is a little pistol and we can’t afford to lose another d-man. We need Z, Sauer and maybe Jovo back. Maybe. But only if he plays every night like the 6 million dollar man.

I knew the game was over after the Habs scored the 2nd and 3rd goal. I could tell that Bryz had already left the game. He checked out. And once Bryz checks out, we are done for. And people wonder why I am not running to jump on the Bryz bandwagon.

And Mike freaking Cammalleri. I told the guys they had to watch him. I told them that we needed a guy on him at all times but do they listen to me? Noooooooo. He owned us on the Kings. He owned us on the Flames. And now… he owned us on the Canadiens.

We still seem to struggle to get the puck out of our zone. If we finally do we spend the whole time passing the puck instead of shooting it. Apparently we need to work on our power play. Horrid. HORRID. Especially since we spent a lot of time in the box.

I need to stop having feelings about games. I had a bad feeling about this game and the Kings game and they were both fails. Although I did say I was feeling Vrbata tonight and he got an assist. I need to start channeling the good feelings only.

Ok, I think it is time for bed. I do have to work in the morning. Saturday is STH rookie camp and Marty Turco. You know I can’t wait to see me some Turco!
