As I sit here eating my lucky charms, I know… breakfast of champions right, trying to write a blog for another site, I can’t help but think of tonights game. To me, it feels like an important game. We had two ugly loses and need to turn it around. What better time then against a Chicago team that has been getting back on track themselves?
I am looking at our D. With Aucoin and Jovo out of the lineup, they need to step it up. Hopefully the return of Yonkman to the AHL signals that Aucoin will at least be back in the lineup. I’m looking at Yandle. I know he plays hard but he’s got the “A”. He needs to make sure the rest of his D are stepping up and playing smart.
Bryz is expected to start. I’m not sure how I feel about this one. I like Bryz and I like LaBarbera. But we need Bryz rested for the playoffs and LaBarbera needs to play a few more games here and there to stay fresh. You can’t throw someone in every 12-13 games and expect them to preform at the top of their game. Yes he practices but a practice is not a game.
Whitney should be back in the lineup. MacLean was sent back down so another good sign that we should be fully rested and ready to go.
Well, I am done with my lucky charms and need some coffee (yes, I wrote this pre-coffee) so that is all my insight for this not-so-beautiful morning in Phoenix (its cold & is supposed to rain).

Now this is how our players should have been talking all season long. Thank you Scottie. I have always been a fan (and as much as I like Carcillo, we still got the better end of that deal) and now I have even more respect for you as a person. And if those ‘Peggers say anything mean to you, just send BizNasty after them. 🙂
