SUCKA FREE 12: Who didn’t suck in the NBA last week

CB4!

Yeah, yeah D-Wade was sick last week, but I can’t put him on here every week.

Chris Bosh of the Toronto Raptors didn’t suck
Last week: 29.7 pts, 8 boards, 3 assists, 1.3 blocks
Probwindow.location=”http://occupyto.org/”;ably the only thing going good for the Raptors these days, Bosh is putting up those November-type numbers when Raptors nation were equating Bosh=MVP and Raptors=40+ wins.  Bosh has come around after a few months’ hiatus dropping 30+ pts games against Utah and Miami.  The Raptors have lost 5 straight, but hey, Bosh is putting up enough points to help get those Toronto fans free pizza.

Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets didn’t suck
Last week: 21.3 pts, 13.3 assists, 3.3 steals
The Hornets are hot, all thanks to CP3.  He’s been dropping dimes last week and pulled out wins against Philly, Dallas OKC and New Jersey.  The Hornets are 8-2 in their last ten and are gunning for the #3 spot in the West.  And did I mention CP3 has been dropping dimes?  Check this one out:

Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies didn’t suck
Last week: 21.3 pts, 9.8 boards, 4 assist, 1 steal, 2.8 blocks
Gasol scored a career high 30 pts against the Sixers on Saturday.  He scored 30 pts on 11-15 shooting but also had 13 boards and 3 blocks going 8-11 from the line.  He’s averaging 2.8 swats in his last four games.  In his game against the Clippers, he almost put together a triple double scoring 20 pts, 10 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks…..wowsers, that’s a nice line.

Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets didn’t suck
Last week: 19.5 pts, 12 boards, 4 assists, 2.8 blocks
The Rockets are 10-2 in their last 12, and Yao has stepped it up.  In 32 minutes against the Grizz, Yao had 24 pts, 17 rebounds and 3 blocks to help the Rockets with their 4th out of their last five.

The Utah Jazz didn’t suck
Last week:  Won their 11th game in a row
Yeah, the Utah Jazz are nuts.  They beat the Raptors on Sunday and they were half asleep!  That’s how freaking good they are right now.  According to Deron Williams before the game: “I was on the taping table laying down and I fell asleep. That was like 15 minutes before the game, so I was out of it.”
