Bobcats 102, Raptors 89
It was a game of 2 on 2 last night, with Bosh/Bargnani taking on Gerald Wallace/Boris Diaw and Gerald Wallace just demolished the Raps. The guy is just a straight up beast both offensively and defensively and like Raptors Republic was saying, I can’t believe this was once a story. Oh, what could have been. The Raptors got killed on the inside last night, as the Bobcats had all their points in the paint. Bosh & Bargnani couldn’t defend it as the Raptors were -40 in the paint. The Raptors came out flat from the start, as Gerald Wallace led the ‘Cats to a nine point lead after one quarter. The Bobcats shot 50% while the Raps shot 45% for the game.
“Crash” had a monster line with 30 pts, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Boris Diaw also had a great game scoring another 30 pts for the Bobcats and grabbing 7 boards.

The Raps made a run in the second quarter to pull it close but then couldn’t maintain it in the second half. Other than Bosh-Bargnani, the rest of the team was a no-show. Parker, Calderon and Marion were a combined 8 for 21. And the Raps’ bench didn’t contribute either, only getting 8 points (6 from Joey Graham) from the reserves.
Key Notes:
- Chris Bosh had 35 points and 7 boards to lead the Raps
- Andrea Bargnani 27 pts and 7 boards
- That leaves 27 points scored by a combination of eight other guys who “supposedly” play for the Raptors
- Raptors fall to 21 games under .500
- The Bobcats are now only one game behind Chicago for that #8 seed

- The Raps face off against the Clippers on Sunday
