Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic didn’t suck
Last week: 18.7 ppg, 11.3 rebounds, 3.7 blocks

Superman held it down for the Magic last week as Orlando is making a push towards that #2 spot in the East.  Dwight Howard had a huge game in their loss against the Cavs scoring 13 pts, grabbing15 boards and swatting 6 shots.  Against the Bucks, Howard almost had a triple double scoring 28 pts with 12 boards and 7 assists.

Gerald Wallace of the Charlotte Bobcats didn’t suck
Last week: 20.8 ppg, 8.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.5 blocks

Gerald Wallace killed the lowly Raptors twice along with lowly Sacramento Kings last week, scoring 25 against the Raps, 25 against the Kings and then dominated the Raptors again in Toronto with 30 pts, 9 rebounds and  8 assists.  The Bobcats only sit a couple of games behind the Bulls for that last playoff spot in the East.

Brandon Roy of the Portland Blazers didn’t suck
Last week: 23.5 ppg, 6.8 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1 steal
Broy Wonder was outstanding for the Blazers last week as the Blazers were on a five-game road trip.  The team went 3-2 beating Memphis, Indiana and Milwaukee and losing to the Cavs and Hawks. Roy had a couple of nice games, scoring 24 pts, 7 rebounds and 7 assists against Cleveland and then dropped 30 pts, 8 rebounds and 7 assists against Milwaukee.  Check out our Bloguin homies, Busta Bucket for more Brandon Roy coverage.

Jason Richardson of the Phoenix Suns didn’t suck
Last week:  30 ppg, 7 reb, 2 assists, 1.5 blocks

As the Suns put together their 5-game winning streak, J-Rich has had the hot hand scoring 20+  in four straight games including his 31 in the high-scoring affair against the Warriors where the Suns were the victors, 154-130.

The Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t suck
Last week: Won their 9th game in a row

Shaq might think the Cavs pre-game intro sucks but the team sure as hell doesn’t.  The Cavs are on their  way to set a franchise record in wins, as they currently have 57 wins.  Lebron James was named last week’s Player of the Week for the East and the Cavs still only hold 1 loss at home.  The Cavs continued their home dominance last week knocking off the Knicks, Magic, Blazers and the Hawks.  A fun fact about the Cavs: they’re15-2 on the second game of back to backs, that’s impressive.
