The NBA Rookie Of The Year, Derrick Rose, showed his support of the home team and did the ceremonial puck drop before the Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks faced off for their Game 4 match up in the 2nd round of the 2009 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Derrick told Bulls.com last night that his Mom cheers on their hometown Blackhawks. “My Mom is a fan,” said Rose. “She calls me and we talk about it a little. But she watches the games and keeps up on her hockey.”
