Stephen Gostowski hit the baseball field tonight in Nashua, New Hampshire as he attended a Nashua Silver Knights game. I was able to be in attendance tonight as Ttown Sports headquarters is just down the street from Holman stadium.
The Nashua Silver Knights are a summer baseball team for college student athletes. The Knights play in the FCBL (Future Collegiate Baseball League) which is a wooden bat league with teams from all around New England.
At the game Gostkowski took pregame batting practice. I got to say he did not look half bad and actually have some very good swings. You can definitely tell he played college ball at the University of Memphis. But of course it was not all baseball for Gostkowski as between innings he would punt, kick, and throw signed footballs into the crowd. Gostowski will not be the only big name coming to a Silver Knights game this year as Jack Edwards will make an appearance Thursday August 6th.
