14-0 was the final on September 18th, the day Boston College hosted Florida State on primetime ESPN. This was a rare occasion for Coach Jimbo Fisher and the Seminoles to lead 7-0 at halftime then win the entire game by a score of 14-0. QB Everett Golson showed how athletic he really was on a potential safety then he danced out of danger and turned it into a good chunk of yardage. He also leveled a defensive lineman on a run play designed for Kermit Whitfield Jr. which got lots of views all over social media and NFL coaches. Golson is transferring his outstanding play to the Seminoles with style. Golson connected with Travis Rudolph for the first TD of the game then the fumble return by CB Jalen Ramsey, who is a top tier prospect for the NFL, to the house for a 14-0 lead which would be the game.
Boston College’s defense was phenominal throughout the whole game no matter what anyone says. QB Darius Wade unfortunately is out for the season with a broken ankle according to multiple sources and was announced by BC. DE Harold Landry is a young talent and shined against a brutal Seminoles offensive line while getting to Golson with miraculous speed. This will most certainly boost his draft stock and now teams will take a closer look at the young stud. LB Steven Daniels and DB Justin Simmons shined as well in this slugfest of a game.
Boston College next plays Northern Illinois at Alumni Stadium 1pm et.
