It was a bad year for basketball players acting as prima donnas. We had the ridiculous LeBron dunk controversy. We had Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady taking their ball and going home when things didn’t go their way. We had Kobe Bryant … we’ll, I guess Kobe behaved himself this year, but he’s still a prima donna regardless. That’s why Steve Nash is such a breath of fresh air in the basketball world. Not only is he seemingly not interested in putting himself above his team, he also has a self depreciating sense of humour us Canadians are known for. So hats off to the anti-prima donna Steve Nash – you truly ARE awesome.
