All parents want what is best for their kids. That means, except for the most narcisistic among us, we want our kids to have better lives than we had. We want them to be better people, do better things, leave a bigger legacy than we did. In some cases, like say Michael Jordan’s basketball playing sons, that is impossible to do. But in other cases, like say Doc Rivers kid Austin, there is still hope. Austin Rivers is one of the top rated high school basketball players in the world. And while his dad enjoyed a long NBA career, I sure don’t remember him ever doing this to someone:
