The X Factor:

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Kidd-Gilchrist’s winning pedigree, heart, hustle and determination will do much to help change the culture of the Bobcats.  How quickly (and how well) he acclimates to the pro game will determine what type of season the Bobcats have.

Summary:

When you are coming off of the least successful season in NBA history, there is nowhere to go but up, right?  Right?!  The Bobcats are bound to improve ever so slightly this season (right?!), but looking at this roster, the gains will be minimal.  Charlotte fans just need to hope for some luck come lottery night next year so the Cats can grab one of the handful of highly regarded big men in next June’s draft to pair up with Kidd-Gilchrist.  Until then, may God have mercy on your souls.
