What I Learned Last Night: Nov 15, 2012

statejumbotags7

Every night (well – perhaps not EVERY night) I’ll be firing up my NBA League Pass and scanning that night’s box scores to bring you, my beloved reader, what I learned from the NBA that night.  Because the internet was invented for knee-jerk, totally premature, irrational reactions to things.

The Pistons Win!! The Pistons Win!! The Pistons Win!!

The Loser Club is down to one member.  How long before John Wall is back?!

Off The Rails

Big things were expected of the Indiana Pacers this year, but their season is quickly going off the rails as they lost again last night, dropping their record to 3-6.  With “star” Danny Granger on the shelf for months, the Pacers needed someone to step up in his absence.  Instead, they have David West shooting 41.6%, George Hill 40.7%, Paul George 38.5 %, Gerald Green 36.9% and Roy Hibbert 38.6%.  In fact, you can’t look at their roster and pick out one player who is having a better than expected year, other than maybe Lance Stephenson.  They need to get this fixed, and quick.

Beware of Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies aren’t playing around.  Their win over OKC last night bumped their record to 6-1.  After losing to the Clippers on opening night, the Griz have ran off six straight W’s, including conquests over the defending champions and the runners-up in their past two games.

Break Out the Bobcats!

The Charlotte Bobcats are 4-3!!!  Yes – you read that correct.  And it is truly a team effort, as the ‘Cats have six (!!) players averaging double-figures in scoring.  No way this can last, right?!

Andrew Bynum is…… The Perminator
