In our daily Wake-Up Call, we get you ready for the day with a complete look at all things Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are now less than one week away from pitchers and catchers reporting, and a little over a week from their first full workouts.
One of the surest signs that Spring Training is getting closer is Truck Day. The annual ritual of packing up the clubhouse, grabbing as much equipment as can fit in a trailer and then hauling it down to Bradenton is one that is obviously greeted very warmly by fans.
Heading up the Truck Day charge is Pittsburgh Pirates equipment manager Scott “Bones” Bonnett. For a few seasons now, Bonnett has been keeping fans in the loop as the trucks are packed via his twitter feed. Here now are some scenes from Truck Day through his account and a wrap up video from the official Pirates twitter.
