The Pittsburgh Pirates are a very polarizing club.
Some of the ensuing debate circles around off-the-field issues – rightfully so – and still some swirls around the actual action we see for 162-plus games every season.
It is only fitting, then, that Pirates Breakdown brings you the latest episode of CANNONBALLS, our unique weekly Pittsburgh Pirates debate show. You will NOT find hot takes here, but rather an intelligent, informed debate between our staff writers and special guests.
Today we find Josh Taylor, host of Bucco Talk on 93.7 The Fan and PBD contributor, going up against the mythical Cannonball champion – PBD staff writer Matt Shetler, who has been on a bit of a winning streak with two consecutive wins. The two get into it on Jung Ho Kang‘s evolving status, and whether or not the Pittsburgh Pirates’ series win over the Washington Nationals means anything.
