Another study by the Think Big Sacramento Committee, titled the Capital Corridor Impact Report, was released today. And it pretty much sums up the obvious.
Most people attending events and Kings games at Power Balance Pavilion aren’t from the city of Sacramento.
The following from the report’s conclusion:
While anecdotally The Committee believed that an entertainment and sports complex was a regional draw, the magnitude of this number is very compelling, with residents outside Sacramento outnumbering Sacramentans nearly 4 to 1. When it comes to civic and cultural events, the entertainment and sports complex is truly a regional asset. It supports the entire Sacramento region, and even many distant areas well beyond the Capitol Corridor rely on the venue for their entertainment.
